Dr Brindi Rasaratnam is pleased to welcome Dr Anny Rizvi to the Melbourne Digestive Centre team.

With a particular interest in Inflammatory bowel disease and luminal gastroenterology, Dr Anny Rizvi is a valuable addition to the MDC Gastroenterology team. Her professional yet approachable character is centered around her patients and reflects the values that our practice hold.

Dr Rizvi underwent training in Gastroenterology and hepatology at the Lyell McEwin hospital, Royal Adelaide hospital and The Queen Elizabeth hospital, Adelaide. She did a dedicated year of inflammatory bowel disease fellowship at the Eastern Health Melbourne. She has been actively involved in the teaching, research and presented in numerous national meetings.

Other than Inflammatory bowel disease, her other special interests within gastroenterology include bowel cancer screening, Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Functional gut disease and food intolerances, resistant h pylori infections and Liver abnormalities.

Dr Rizvi is fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi. She will be seeing patients at 330 Police Road and will offer the following services:
